The UK's most popular challenge cycle route starting at the Irish Sea in the west and finishing at the North Sea in the East.
The iconic route passes through the northern Lake District before climbing the Pennines and descending to the railway paths of County Durham.
Enjoy this adventure on one of awesome electric bikes and we can drop it off and collect it for you. We'll also send you route guides and downloadable GPX files to map your route for you. As well as provide all the accessories you'll need to complete the trip.

Route Direction
Our C2C Adventure is always planned from west to east to take advantage of the prevailing winds. The gradients are generally better this way round too, with shorter ascents and longer descents to enjoy. Should you wish to ride in the opposite direction (east to west) please make us aware so we send you the correct route maps.
C2C Tradition
Don't forget to follow the traditional dipping of your rear wheel in the Irish Sea before you start. You will finish by dipping your front wheel in the North Sea when you reach Tynemouth.
Bike Type
In general all bikes are suitable to complete the C2C. We recommend a mountain or gravel/hybrid bike due to some off-road sections on our route but we can always provide alternatives for those using road bikes.
